A new video helps explain the work that has been completed as part of the Wireless Expansion and Upgrade Project as well where the project is headed between now and July 2017.
Over the course of the Fall 2015 semester, the Wireless Upgrade and Expansion project improved the WiFi connectivity in a number of buildings, even while classes were in session. All of the following buildings were upgraded during between September and December 1st:
As students and faculty settled into the rhythm of a new school year, Wireless Expansion and Upgrade work kicked back into full swing, with three more buildings completing their upgrade and four more starting the construction phase in the first two weeks of September.
In the month of August, Wireless Expansion and Upgrade work was completed in the Noyes Laboratory of Chemistry. The completion of this building brings the total wireless coverage added to campus to more than 2 million square feet since the project began in July 2014.
A great deal of progress was made on the Wireless Expansion and Upgrade Project during the month of July.
The first year of the Wireless Expansion and Upgrade project came to a close in the month of June. During the past month, a lot of work was accomplished.
